Pinewood Derby

The Pinewood Derby is the wood car racing event of Cub Scouts. With the help of Akela (aka parent/guardian), scouts build their own unpowered, unmanned miniature cars from wood, from kits containing a block of pine wood, plastic wheels, and metal axles.

From the sleek fast looking cars to the interesting theme based cars, every car is different and reflects the scouts interests.
